About Me

Professional Qualifications

I have a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy and am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). As a registered member, I abide by the code of ethics set out by these organisations.

In addition to holding a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy, I also hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and have completed trainings in Couples Therapy and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT).

Clinical Experience

As an Integrative Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist, I draw upon a variety of psychological approaches to suit the individual needs of each client.  I value the importance of the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client to provide a safe space to explore both past and present experiences.  It is through this exploration that individuals can gain a greater understanding of themselves and their relationships to bring about change.

I am a trained couples therapist, and work with couples for either short-term or longer-term work. The work focuses on developing a deeper understanding of each other and of the patterns that contribute to difficulties in your relationship, creating a space to think, communicate more effectively and find ways move forward.

Clinical Supervision

In addition, I also offer clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists who are either in training or working towards accreditation or who have qualified and are working in clinical practice.
